Tastings
If there is a product that traditionally presides over the Galician table, that is the wine. In Galicia there are a total of five denominations of origin: Rías Baixas, Ribeiro, Valdeorras, Monterrei and Ribeira Sacra. Viticulture is one of the most ancient activities of this land. Since it was introduced by the Romans, it has evolved into one of its emblems.
In each wine region there are a number of wineries in which the visitor can not only taste the wines, but also witness the production process of the wines. Wineries such as Martín Códax (D. Rías Baixas) or those of Casal de Armán (D.O Ribeiro) combine tradition and innovation in the production of their wines. The latter also offers accommodation to anyone who wishes.

Eco-Routes
These types of tours focus on the discovery of the biodiversity of the Galician landscape. Among these routes are the ornithological ones, consisting of the sighting of birds to deepen their customs and habitats. Galicia is situated halfway between the Eurosiberian and Mediterranean areas. These two biogeographical regions provide a great heterogeneity orographic and a wide range of animal and plant species. In its four provinces there are areas specially indicated to practice ornithology.

In Valdoviño (A Coruña), cliff birds such as the peregrine falcon and sea birds like the European pheasant stand out. The Marine-Terrestrial Park of the Cíes Islands (Pontevedra) houses 45 species among which the argentea seagull and the common spider stand out. The Serra do Xurés (Ourense) is inhabited by species of threatened birds of prey, such as the golden eagle or the royal owl. And the coastal wetland of Ribadeo (Lugo), shelters a varied bird species with species such as the curlew or the eagle.
A modality different from the previous one is one that makes possible to enjoy the flora and fauna on horseback. Guided by professionals of riding, travelers will only have to worry about enjoying a privileged natural environment.

Camino de Santiago
The reasons for making the Camino de Santiago are diverse. Some pilgrims affirm that their main interest is the visit to the tomb of the apostle and others prefer the fulfillment of a promise or the desire to know closely the immense cultural heritage that treasures the route. Whatever the impulse that leads to undertake this route, everyone who performs it seeks to take from it an imprint that will last in time.
For this to happen, the ideal is to plan the different stages in a differentiated way. For example, in the stage Tui-O Porriño of the Portuguese Way, travelers can enjoy a day of hiking in the natural setting of the Giants Budiño and, in the stage from Pontevedra to Caldas de Reis, you can enjoy a thermal route, one of the main assets of this last locality.

At the end of each day, the traveler can choose between the uniqueness of a country house, the exclusivity of a luxury hotel or the historic charm of a pazo. Among the most unique accommodations of the Camino are the Hostal de los Reyes Católicos, a spectacular 16th century building located in the Plaza del Obradoiro and which has had guests as illustrious as Cary Grant or the Rolling Stones.
